Warehouse Executive

Job Location: Ambernath, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of materials and products for daily operations and production schedules by monitoring inventory levels and safety stock as per MOQ and lead time.
• Manage receiving, storing, dispatch and internal transfer of materials, including accurate ERP/WMS entries, GRN booking and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, labelling, FIFO compliance and inward/outward material movement tracking, including WIP inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and physical stock audits, reconcile system vs physical stock and coordinate with SCM team on discrepancies.
• Handle PO requests, follow up on material deliveries, verify deviations between PO, invoice and received quantities, and manage purchase returns, credit/debit notes and reversals.
• Support QA by providing samples of received materials and ensuring quality inspection documentation.
• Manage warehouse manpower for loading, unloading and internal material movement between warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain inventory reports, organize stock using identification systems and escalate shortages or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; certification in Supply Chain / Inventory Management / Logistics is preferred.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in warehouse, inventory or supply chain operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations and FIFO practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, WMS, ERP and MS Excel.
• Good numerical and analytical skills for stock tracking and reconciliation.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with production, SCM and other departments.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and documentation discipline.
• Ability to manage manpower and warehouse operations efficiently.
