1. Teaching Responsibilities

Teach Physics for 1st PUC and 2nd PUC students according to the syllabus prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education Karnataka.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and presentations.

Conduct theory classes and practical laboratory sessions.

Explain concepts such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics in a clear and engaging way.

2. Academic Planning

Prepare annual academic plan and daily teaching schedule.

Complete syllabus within the prescribed timeline.

Conduct unit tests, assignments, and revision classes.

Prepare students for PU board examinations and internal assessments.

3. Laboratory Management

Supervise Physics practical experiments.

Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Guide students in record writing and practical examinations.

4. Student Support

Provide doubt-clearing sessions and academic guidance.

Identify weak students and conduct remedial classes.

Motivate students for science projects and competitions.

5. Examination & Evaluation

Prepare question papers, answer keys, and evaluation reports.

Correct answer scripts and maintain student performance records.

Assist in board exam preparation and invigilation duties.

6. Institutional Responsibilities

Participate in department meetings and academic planning sessions.

Assist in college activities, seminars, workshops, and science exhibitions.

Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.

7. Qualification Requirements

M.Sc in Physics (mandatory).

B.Ed preferred.

Good knowledge of PU Physics syllabus under the Department of Pre-University Education Karnataka.
