Homecare Chemical Specialist

About the Role We’re hiring a Chemical Specialist to develop and optimize home care cleaning products—dishwash liquid, glass cleaner, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, and related SKUs. You’ll own end-to-end formulation, stability and performance testing, cost optimization, scale-up, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new and improve existing formulations for dishwash liquid, glass cleaner, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, etc.
• Select and optimize surfactants, solvents, builders, acids/alkalis, chelants, preservatives, fragrances, dyes, and adjuvants.
• Conduct lab trials, stability studies (heat/cold/cycling), viscosity/pH/foam/soil-removal and performance benchmarking vs competition.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and quality compliance (SDS/MSDS, labeling norms, BIS/ISI as applicable, GMP).
• Cost optimization: yield improvement, concentrate design, alternate raw materials, supplier evaluation.
