Insurance Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Performance

• Manage a team of insurance call center agents.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team.
• Monitor agent productivity, attendance, and performance metrics.
• Motivate and guide agents to achieve and exceed targets.

Sales & Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day call center operations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound call activities.
• Support agents during live calls (call barging/whisper, if applicable).
• Handle escalated customer calls when required.

Quality, Training & Compliance

• Monitor live and recorded calls to ensure call quality and sales effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company compliance standards.
• Identify training needs and coordinate with trainers for skill improvement.
• Reduce mis-selling, cancellations, and customer complaints.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Share insights on sales trends, lead quality, and conversion ratios.
• Coordinate with QA, training, operations, and management teams.
