Position: Field Sales Executive

Location: Amritsar / Jammu (North Jammu & Kashmir)

Job Overview Pine Labs Ltd. is seeking a motivated and dynamic Field Sales Executive to join our Sales team in the Amritsar/Jammu region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving fintech-based product sales, building strong merchant relationships, and achieving assigned targets.

  • Key Responsibilities Territory Management:

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new merchants (retailers, small businesses, and service providers) within the North J&K territory (Amritsar & Jammu).
  • Conduct regular field visits to engage with merchants, understand their point-of-sale needs, and demonstrate Pine Labs’ solutions.
  • Sales Targets & Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned (e.g., 150 new merchant activations per quarter).
  • Present tailored fintech payment solutions (POS machines, payment gateways, value-added services) to potential clients.
  • Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with merchants, key decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Provide ongoing post-sale support, coordinate product installations, and ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction and retention.
  • Product Demonstrations & Training:

  • Conduct live product demos, small-group training sessions, and workshops to educate merchants on product features, benefits, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on Pine Labs’ product roadmap, industry trends, and competitor offerings to position Pine Labs as a market leader.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of daily field activities, sales progress, merchant feedback, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed action plans.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Support, and Onboarding teams to ensure seamless activation and service delivery for new clients.
  • Provide market intelligence and merchant feedback to product teams to help refine offerings and pricing structures.
  • Qualifications & Experience Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Com/B.Sc.) or successful completion of 12th grade (10+2) from a recognized board/institute.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of demonstrable fintech or payments sales experience (preferably in a B2B/merchant-acquisition role).
  • Prior field-sales exposure—direct selling to merchants or SMEs—is strongly preferred.
  • Location:

  • Based in/around Amritsar or Jammu, with the ability to travel extensively within North Jammu & Kashmir for daily field calls.
  • Skills & Competencies Strong Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi; Punjabi is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally.
  • Sales Acumen:

  • Target-driven mindset, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable giving presentations, conducting product demos, and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Empathy for merchant pain points; ability to recommend optimal solutions that align with their business needs.
  • Time & Territory Management:

  • Strong organizational skills to plan daily/weekly field routes, maximize face-to-face merchant interactions, and follow up promptly.
  • Adaptability & Resilience:

  • Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing product features, incentives, and market conditions.
  • Ability to bounce back from rejections and persistently pursue new opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency:

  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic CRM or sales-tracking apps to log activities in real time.
