Job Description
Position Overview
The Sales Manager leads the complete sales function for uPVC & Aluminium windows, doors, and façade solutions. This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing the sales team, developing customer relationships, and ensuring that every proposal, design, and solution offered aligns with the customer’s technical requirements and FabFrame’s production capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, technically sound, and experienced in solution-based selling where every project is customised. They must be comfortable handling site conditions, BOQs, drawings, and client expectations while guiding the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Identify new market segments, builders, architects, contractors, and retail opportunities.
- Track sales funnel performance and ensure healthy lead-to-order conversion.
- Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.
2. Lead Management & Client Acquisition
- Oversee the complete lead lifecycle: enquiry → site visit → measurement → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Ensure timely follow-up and professional communication with all prospects.
- Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and channel partners.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions when required.
3. Technical Solutioning & Proposal Development
- Understand customer requirements, site conditions, and functional needs.
- Guide the team in preparing accurate BOQs, window/door configurations, and system recommendations.
- Ensure proposals are technically feasible and aligned with production capabilities.
- Review drawings, elevations, and specifications before final submission.
- Support clients in selecting profiles, glass types, hardware, and design options.
4. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and train the sales team on product knowledge, pricing, communication, and negotiation.
- Set clear KPIs for enquiries, site visits, proposals, and closures.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and pipeline meetings.
- Ensure the team maintains high discipline in documentation, CRM usage, and follow-ups.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
With Operations & Production
- Align on feasibility, timelines, and technical constraints before order confirmation.
- Ensure Sales hands over complete and accurate documentation to Operations.
- Communicate client expectations, special instructions, and design considerations.
With Dispatch & Installation
- Coordinate expected delivery timelines with clients.
- Ensure installation readiness is communicated clearly.
With Accounts
- Ensure advance payments, billing terms, and credit approvals are aligned before order closure.
- Support Accounts in payment follow-ups when required.
6. Client Relationship Management
- Act as escalation point for high-value clients or complex projects.
- Maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure transparency in communication regarding timelines, scope, and changes.
- Handle objections, negotiate pricing, and close deals professionally.
7. Documentation & Process Compliance
- Ensure the sales team maintains clean documentation for every enquiry and order.
- Review BOQs, proposals, drawings, and SOW before final client submission.
- Maintain updated trackers for leads, proposals, closures, and revenue.
- Ensure CRM/Excel trackers are updated daily.
8. Reporting & Management Communication
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on:
- Leads generated
- Site visits conducted
- Proposals shared
- Orders closed
- Revenue achieved
- Forecast for upcoming months
- Market insights and competitor activity
Highlight risks, opportunities, and major project updates to senior management.

- Strong understanding of uPVC/Aluminium window & door systems.
- Confident in handling customised, technical, and premium product sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with site visits, measurements, and client-facing discussions.
- High ownership, discipline, and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of fenestration systems.
- Ability to read drawings, elevations, and BOQs.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent follow-up discipline.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Engineering, Architecture, or Commerce (Engineering preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in fenestration, building materials, or project-based sales.
- Experience selling customised solutions in construction/interiors.
- Familiarity with site conditions, installation workflows, and façade components.
