Tool and Die Maker

Job Description:

A Tool and Die Maker is responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, molds, and fixtures used in production. They ensure that tools are accurate and meet quality standards to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and repair tools, dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Operate machines such as lathe, milling, grinding, and drilling machines.
• Perform precision measurements using measuring instruments.
• Maintain tools and ensure proper functioning in production.
• Troubleshoot tool or die issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness.

Skills & Requirements:

• Knowledge of machining processes and tool making.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Mechanical field preferred.
