Qualification/ Personal Attributes
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in IMS/QMS in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001/14001/45001 preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Good documentation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Maintenance
- Ensure effective implementation of IMS (QMS/EMS/OHSMS) across departments.
- Coordinate internal audits, management reviews, and external certification audits.
- Maintain documentation and records as per ISO standards and corporate guidelines.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives through CAPA, RCA, and process audits.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor statutory and regulatory compliance related to environment, health, and safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation planning.
- Liaise with external agencies for certifications, audits, and inspections.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct training sessions on IMS awareness, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and environmental consciousness.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain and analyze system performance metrics (NCRs, audit findings, etc.).
- Prepare monthly reports for management review and corporate reporting.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, HR, and EHS teams to ensure system adherence.
- Support vendor audits and customer visits related to system compliance.
