Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager / HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify manpower requirements and prepare detailed job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with department heads.
  • Manage offer letters, salary negotiations, and joining formalities.
  • Conduct employee orientation and ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.

2. HR Operations

  • Maintain and update employee records and HRMS data accurately.
  • Process attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
  • Handle employee lifecycle processes including confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation.
  • Prepare salary sheets and generate salary slips.
  • Ensure timely distribution of salary slips.
  • Conduct random daily checks on employee and labour attendance.
  • Manage insurance-related data including addition and deletion of employees.
  • Maintain employee documentation and support statutory compliance requirements.

3. Employee Relations

  • Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a positive and healthy work environment through employee engagement initiatives.

4. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.
  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and statutory inspections.

5. Exit Management

  • Manage employee resignations, exit interviews, notice period tracking, and full & final settlements.
  • Ensure collection of company assets and update employee records accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, policies, and labour laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with effective time management.
  • Preferred Experience 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience.
