Area Sales Manager

Job Summary:The Area Sales Manager – EV is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of electric vehicles within a designated territory. This role involves managing dealer networks, expanding distribution channels, promoting EV adoption, and ensuring achievement of sales targets while aligning with the company’s sustainability and mobility goals.

• Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to promote electric vehicles in the assigned territory
• Drive retail and institutional sales (B2C & B2B) including fleet operators, corporates, and government tenders
• Appoint, manage, and support dealer/distributor networks for EV products
• Ensure dealer profitability, performance, and adherence to brand standards
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand EV adoption
• Conduct market analysis on EV trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences
• Educate customers and partners on EV benefits, charging infrastructure, and government incentives/subsidies
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, service, and charging infrastructure teams)
• Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting, and supply coordination
• Ensure timely collections and manage credit exposure
• Organize promotional activities, roadshows, and product demonstrations
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and EV ecosystem partners
