Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with around 2 years of experience to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting technical problems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, software, and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system access.
• Assist in network setup, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and basic server support.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Provide remote and onsite support to employees.
• Ensure data security, antivirus updates, and system backups.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook configuration.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and installation.
• Knowledge of printer setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft certification (preferred).
