WE ARE LOOKING FOR EDUCATION COUNSELLOR

EDUCATION COUNSELLOR : We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Education Counsellor who can guide students in choosing the right career path and actively promote professional courses offered

The role involves counselling, lead conversion, and achieving admissions targets through effective communication and relationship building.

The ideal candidate should be able to explain industry trends, job roles, salary scope, and career pathways with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Career Counselling & Guidance

• Counsel students about careers in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Digital Media, and IT-related fields.
• Explain real-world industry structure, production pipelines, and corporate work culture.
• Help students understand job roles such as Animator, VFX Artist, Game Designer, Graphic Designer, Video Editor, UI/UX Designer, and IT Support roles.
• Provide clear career roadmaps from training → internship → job placement.

2. Admissions & Sales Conversion

• Handle walk-ins, calls, and digital leads; convert them into enrollments.
• Achieve monthly admission targets through ethical counselling and follow-ups.
• Present courses as career investments aligned with industry demand.

3. Industry Awareness & Guidance

• Stay updated on AVGC sector growth, studio requirements, and IT job trends.
• Educate students about software used in industry (e.g., design, editing, animation tools, and basic IT tools).
• Explain corporate expectations like portfolios, technical skills, communication, and workplace readiness.

4. Outreach & Promotion

• Conduct seminars, career awareness sessions, and presentations in schools/colleges.
• Represent programs in education events and local campaigns.
• Build strong referral networks.

5. Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain enquiry database, follow-ups, and admission records.
• Coordinate with academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding and student support.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge or exposure to AVGC industry and IT/corporate career pathways.
• Excellent counselling, presentation, and convincing ability.
• Sales-driven approach with a student-first mindset.
• Understanding of career mapping, portfolios, and employability skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools.
• Fluent in Marathi & Hindi (English communication preferred).

6.Qualification : Graduate in any stream (Media, IT, Management, or Education preferred).

7.Experience : 1–3 years in Education Counselling / Training Institute / Academic Sales.

8.Candidates with AVGC, Media, or IT industry exposure will be strongly preferred.
