Job Description

Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Sales Executive drives sales by identifying fleet/business needs, showcasing vehicles (trucks, buses), managing the full sales cycle (prospecting to delivery), building strong customer & stakeholder (financier, bodybuilder) relations, meeting targets, and providing post-sale support, requiring deep product knowledge and market awareness for B2B sales in logistics/transport sectors. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Target Achievement:
  • Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets for units sold/revenue.
  • Generate new leads and convert them into sales.
  • Manage the complete sales process: prospecting, demonstrations, negotiation, order taking, and closing deals.
  • Customer & Relationship Management:
  • Understand complex business needs of fleet operators, logistics firms, construction companies, etc..
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, body builders, financiers, and mechanics.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support and explain warranty/service policies.
  • Market & Product Expertise:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of HCV products (trucks, buses, etc.) and competitor offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and government policies.
  • Field & Reporting:
  • Conduct extensive market coverage through field visits.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and update CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and after-sales teams. 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in B2B or the automotive/heavy vehicle sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and financial aspects.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with readiness for extensive travel.
