Job Description
- Inventory Accounting & Control: Track and reconcile inventory valuation (FIFO, LIFO, or Weighted Average), monitor stock levels, investigate inventory variances, and manage damaged or obsolete stock.
- Accounts Receivable & Collections: Manage high-volume customer invoicing, monitor aging reports, and reconcile accounts to ensure timely collection.
- Accounts Payable & Purchasing: Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents (three-way match), manage vendor payment terms, and reconcile supplier statements.
- Financial Reporting & Month-End: Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow), perform account reconciliations, and handle accruals.
- Tax Compliance: File sales and use tax returns across various states
- System Maintenance: Utilize ERP software (e.g., Marg, Tally) to ensure accuracy in inventory and financial data, identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
