Job Description

  • To sell primarily Paints & coating in the allocated region.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Identify new markets such as New Building Constructions, Dealers, Government Structure, Schools and colleges and Business opportunities.
  • Negotiate the terms of contract and close sales deals.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitors’ activities and provide feedback on buying/price trends.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops, establishing personal networks with Architects and Civil Engineers.
  • Forecasting, preparing budget and achieving targets as per budgets.
  • Maintain relationship with dealer/clients and colour contractor by providing support, information and guidance.
  • Extensive visit to existing and potential dealers/customers on a regular basis to generate new business.
  • Identifying new business opportunity by leveraging the full potential of the company’s product and services portfolio.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminar and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influences credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizations.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Effectively implementing price increase and maintaining monthly/quarterly price lists to customer/dealers.
  • Identify customer needs and driving opportunity in agreement with the commercial business strategy and the market to increase customer profitability for sustainable and profitable mutual growth.
