Electrical Engineer

1.Assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems related to boilers, turbines, and auxiliary equipment.

2.Support routine inspection and troubleshooting of motors, panels, MCCs, VFDs, and control wiring in the boiler section.

3.Ensure proper functioning of electrical safety systems, interlocks, alarms, and protection devices.

4.Help in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime of boiler electrical equipment.

5.Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.

6.Maintain daily electrical logbooks, maintenance records, and compliance documentation as per statutory norms.

7.Assist in testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical equipment used in boiler operations.

8.Ensure adherence to safety standards, electrical codes, and company operating procedures at all times.

9.Support energy efficiency initiatives by monitoring electrical consumption and identifying improvement areas.

10. Learn and follow boiler department SOPs while working under the guidance of senior engineers and supervisors.
