Primary Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for primary classes following the school curriculum
• Create a safe, warm, and nurturing classroom environment for young children
• Develop children’s foundational skills in English communication, reading, and writing
• Encourage social, emotional, and moral development through daily interactions and activities
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress regularly
• Maintain classroom discipline with patience and positive reinforcement
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s learning and development
• Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions, and academic planning
• Ensure the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of every child
• Other Specific Requirements:Qualification: B.Ed or M.Ed (mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience teaching primary children
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Skills Required:

• Strong classroom management skills
• Child-friendly, patient, and empathetic nature
• Ability to engage young learners through stories, activities, and interactive methods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Personal Qualities:

• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Responsible, punctual, and well-organized
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the school’s teaching approach

Background Preference: Experience in English-medium schools is a must.
