Job Description

The Sales Executive – Solar Division will be responsible for generating leads, driving sales, and expanding the company’s presence in the solar energy market. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their energy requirements, presenting suitable solar solutions, and closing sales while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of solar systems (rooftop / ground-mounted), basic technical understanding, and strong field sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development:Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and government solar projects.
  • Generate leads through site visits, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Client Consultation:

  • Understand customer electricity consumption and suggest suitable solar solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys and coordinate with the technical team for feasibility analysis.
  • Explain system capacity, ROI, payback period, subsidies (if applicable), and technical specifications.

Proposal & Negotiation:

  • Prepare quotations and proposals in coordination with the design team.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals successfully.
  • Follow up regularly to convert prospects into confirmed projects.

Market Development:

  • Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and government solar policies.
  • Identify opportunities in rooftop, industrial, agricultural pump, and ground-mount segments.

Coordination & Execution:

  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure customer documentation and payment collection process is completed on time.
  • Client Relationship Management:Build strong and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Handle post-sales follow-ups and resolve customer concerns.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Submit daily/weekly sales reports to management.
  • Track pipeline and revenue forecasts.
