We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and informative lessons that adhere to the CBSE curriculum, helping students understand and appreciate the complexities of society, history, geography, and civics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Implementation: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the CBSE syllabus, incorporating various teaching strategies and resources.
• Instruction: Teach Social Studies subjects, including History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, fostering a deep understanding of social issues and cultural perspectives.
• Assessment: Design assessments to evaluate student understanding and skills, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Classroom Management: Create and maintain a respectful and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical discussion.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and social studies initiatives.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about educational trends and best practices in Social Studies; engage in professional development opportunities.
• Extracurricular Activities: Promote and participate in social studies-related extracurricular activities, such as debates, quizzes, and field trips.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or similar educational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE Social Studies curriculum and assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
