Retail Store Manager

🏬 Assistant Store Manager – Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Store Operations:

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Ensure store opens and closes on time as per company policy
• Maintain cleanliness, VM standards, and overall store appearance
• Ensure SOPs, safety, and compliance standards are followed

2.Sales & Business Performance:

• Drive sales and achieve monthly/weekly targets
• Analyze sales reports, fast-moving & non-moving stock
• Plan promotions, offers, and upselling strategies
• Reduce customer walk-outs and improve conversion rate

3. Inventory & Stock Management:

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Track fast-moving sizes/products and raise refill requests
• Control shrinkage, damages, and stock discrepancies
• Coordinate with warehouse and HO for stock movements.

4. Team Management:

• Recruit, train, and guide store staff
• Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets
• Handle staff performance, discipline, and grooming standards.

5.Customer Experience:

• Ensure excellent customer service at all times
• Handle customer complaints, exchanges, and escalations
• Build repeat customer relationships and loyalty
• Ensure staff follow proper selling and billing etiquette.

6.Cash & Billing Control:

• Supervise billing, cash handling, and payment accuracy
• Ensure daily cash tally and safe deposit
• Verify bills, discounts, vouchers, and offers
• Report billing errors or discrepancies immediately.

7.Reporting & Communication:

• Share daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
• Communicate store requirements to HO/Operation/Merchandising team.
• Report maintenance issues, shortages, and incidents.
• Coordinate during audits and stock counts.

8.Visual Merchandising (VM):

• Implement VM guidelines as per brand standards
• Ensure mannequins and displays are updated regularly
• Support promotional and festive VM activities.
