Trainee Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Diploma Trainee Engineers (Mechanical) to join our client’s team. The selected candidates will undergo on-the-job training to gain practical exposure to production processes, machinery handling, quality systems, and maintenance operations. This role is ideal for fresh diploma graduates who want to build a strong foundation in the manufacturing and engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily production activities, ensuring efficient operation of machines and adherence to production schedules.
• Support the maintenance team in preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Perform quality checks and ensure that finished goods meet specified standards and tolerances.
• Learn and assist in machine setup, calibration, and process optimization under supervision.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Support process improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Assist senior engineers in designing jigs, fixtures, and process layouts if assigned to design or projects department.
• Follow all safety protocols and quality guidelines as per company policy.
• Participate in technical training sessions, workshops, and periodic evaluations during the training period.

Training Duration: 12 months ( convertible to a permanent role based on performance).

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full-time, recognized institute)
• Age: 18 -40
• Willingness to relocate to plant site / manufacturing unit. [Jharmajri Baddi, HP]
