SENIOR DIE FITTER

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITY

• Assemble, dismantle, repair, and maintain various types of dies (casting, injection

moulds, progressive dies).

• Operate tool room machinery including surface grinder, lathe, milling, and drilling

machines & EDM.

• Handling breakdowns and perform root cause analysis for quick resolution.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of all tooling & Mould.
• Ensure accurate fitting and finishing of die components as per drawings.
• Supervise and guide junior die fitters and apprentices.
• Maintain tool maintenance logs, die history cards, and inspection report.
• Collaborate with the NPD team during development of new bath fitting products (taps,

mixers, valves, diverters, etc.).

• Assemble new dies and moulds as per design specifications.

Hands-on experience in NPD tooling support and trial handling.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and tool layouts.
