Job Title: Senior Engineer – Testing & Production (Transformers)
Company: Sri Valampuri Transformers & Radiators, Puducherry
Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹55,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 6 years
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong hands-on expertise in distribution transformer testing and production management, especially for transformers supplied to government electricity boards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine/type tests on distribution transformers as per standards
- Handle government inspections (TNEB / EB / third-party)
- Manage end-to-end production line (winding, assembly, tanking, testing)
- Ensure quality compliance and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth production flow
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years experience in transformer testing & production
- Experience with government supply transformers is well preferred
- Strong knowledge of testing procedures & EB specifications
- Ability to manage shop floor and team
