Panchmukhi Aarogyashala Panchmukhi Hospital Pvt Ltd, Bakhtiyarpur is hiring optometrist who must be trained at performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision problems (like nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism) and eye diseases (like glaucoma), prescribing corrective solutions (glasses, contacts, vision therapy), and providing patient counseling for eye health, often collaborating with ophthalmologists for complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough vision tests using diagnostic tools to assess visual acuity, eye coordination, and overall ocular health.

• Diagnosis & Treatment: Identify and diagnose vision defects, eye diseases, and abnormalities; prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and sometimes therapeutic medications.

• Patient Care: Educate patients on eye care, preventive measures, contact lens use, and proper vision hygiene; offer advice on visual ergonomics.

• Referrals & Collaboration: Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists for severe conditions or surgery, and work with other healthcare providers for coordinated care.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and compliant patient medical records.

• Technical Proficiency: With optometric instruments and technology.

• Qualification in B.Sc/M.Sc Optometry

• Minimum 2yrs of experience

• Possessing basic computer knowledge

• Salary Rs. 12000 – Rs.15000
