"Store Incharge","Furniture Industry Experience",

The Store In-Charge for the Furniture Category is responsible for overseeing all inward and outward movement of furniture-related raw materials, tools, fittings, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock levels, systematic storage, and timely material issuance to production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper records of all incoming and outgoing materials related to furniture production.
• Ensure correct tagging, stacking, and identification of all items in the store (timber, boards, veneers, laminates, screws, adhesives, etc.).
• Coordinate with the purchase team for stock requirements and reordering.
• Issue materials to production teams against indents; update stock registers and software.
• Check for damage, quantity mismatches, and quality of incoming materials.
• Handle loading/unloading and storage of finished goods ready for dispatch.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Conduct weekly/monthly physical stock audits.
• Prevent pilferage, wastage, and misuse of tools and consumables.
• Maintain safety norms, especially for storage of flammable or hazardous materials like adhesives, lacquers, etc.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in factory stores management, preferably in furniture or woodworking.
• Familiar with stock management systems, manual registers, or software (e.g., Excel, ERP, Odoo).
• Knowledge of carpentry materials, fittings, and finishes is a plus.
• Must be physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
