Responsibilities

As Manager - Electrical, you will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities to manage, plan, and execute electrical engineering activities that support the operational and strategic objectives of the organization. Your key roles and responsibilities include:

• Project Management and Execution: Lead electrical design, engineering, and installation for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on electrical systems, including high voltage equipment, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and control panels.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict compliance with national and international electrical codes, standards, and Adani’s safety protocols. Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard personnel and assets.
• Team Development and Collaboration: Mentor and develop electrical engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration aligned with Adani’s leadership principles.
• Maintenance and Reliability Engineering: Develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal business units, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution and operational excellence.
• Budget and Resource Management: Prepare and manage electrical engineering budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities in line with organizational goals.
• Technology Integration: Champion the adoption of new technologies such as smart grid systems, renewable energy integration, and automation tools to enhance electrical system performance.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, technical reports, and compliance records; present periodic updates to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety and environmental impact in electrical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
