Financial Business Planner

A Financial Business Planner is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining financial plans that support the company’s business objectives. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to guide decision-making and ensure sustainable growth.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop short-term and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investments
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management
• Support strategic initiatives such as expansion, cost optimization, and pricing decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, marketing) to align financial plans
• Monitor key financial KPIs and recommend corrective actions when needed
• Assist in cash flow planning and working capital management
• Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business (MBA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools (ERP/BI tools are a plus)
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience2–5 years of experience in financial planning, business planning, or FP&A
• Experience in corporate finance, consulting, or strategic planning is an advantage
