Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Accounts Management: Maintain day-to-day financial entries, cash book updates, ledger posting, and proper documentation of receipts and payments.
- Billing & Collections: Prepare bills for blood units, services, and consumables; follow up and ensure timely collection from hospitals, camps, and walk-in clients.
- Cash & Bank Handling: Manage daily cash flow, prepare bank deposits, and perform bank reconciliation regularly.
- Vendor & Purchase Accounting: Maintain vendor invoices, track pending payments, prepare statements, and coordinate with the purchase/store team for stock and consumables accounting.
- Payroll Support: Assist in preparing monthly salary statements, maintain attendance and leave records, and update basic deductions (PF/ESI/TDS if applicable).
- Petty Cash Management: Record petty expenses, maintain vouchers, and ensure approvals with accurate bookkeeping.
- Inventory Cost Tracking: Maintain financial records of consumables, reagents, and equipment expenses related to blood centre operations.
- Audit & Documentation: Prepare supporting documents for audits, maintain organized files, and assist in regulatory financial documentation (no GST tasks).
- Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial summaries, highlight discrepancies, and submit reports to management.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with office-related accounting tasks, vendor communication, quotation management, and expense planning.
- Requirements:Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel; Tally knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle accounts independently with accuracy.
