Job Title: Account Executive cum Data Entry Operator

About the RoleMelhor Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Executive cum Data Entry Operator to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial and data records. The role requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in data entry and documentation processes.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance SupportMaintain daily accounting entries in accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books/Busy/ 4QT or similar).
  • Record sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries accurately.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and basic financial reporting.
  • Support invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable/payable tracking.
  • Data Entry & DocumentationPerform accurate and timely data entry of financial and operational records.
  • Maintain digital and physical records of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Update CRM/ERP systems with transaction and client data.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents.
  • Compliance & CoordinationAssist in GST-related documentation and basic statutory compliance support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for approvals, documentation, and records.
  • Support audits and internal financial checks when required.
  • Reporting & MISPrepare basic MIS reports and trackers for management.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and dashboards for finance and operational data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field preferred.
  • Additional certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
  • Experience1–4 years of experience in accounts, data entry, or finance support roles.
  • Experience with real estate, construction, or corporate accounting is a plus.
  • Technical SkillsBasic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and data management tools.
  • Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, etc.) preferred.
  • Good typing speed with high accuracy.
  • Behavioral CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
