Area Sales Manager

Drive solar sales and accelerate market expansion across the assigned territory by acquiring high-value C&I, institutional, government, and bulk customers. Own the growth of rooftop, EPC, and utility-scale solar projects through direct sales and strong channel partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar solutions
• Acquire and manage C&I, industrial, institutional, and government clients
• Appoint, onboard, and manage dealers, EPC partners, and solar consultants
• Own the end-to-end sales cyclefrom lead generation to deal closure
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and proposal presentations
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and government policies
• Coordinate with internal teams for project execution, documentation, and collections

Qualifications & Experience

• BE/BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or a Diploma in a relevant field. Graduates in any discipline, including BBA holders, are also eligible to apply.
• 48 years of experience in solar or renewable energy sales
• Strong exposure to rooftop, C&I, EPC, or utility-scale projects would be preferred.
• Proven experience in large account handling

Skills Required

• Strong negotiation and solution-selling capabilities
• Solid understanding of solar PV systems, EPC models, and commercial structures
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
