Reports To: School Board / Director of Education

Job Overview:The Principal of AL-HAFEEZ EDUCATIONAL ACADEMY will be a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school's operations. This individual will work closely with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the school board to foster a positive educational environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and character development. The Principal will ensure the implementation of curriculum standards, the effective management of school resources, and the overall success of the students and school community.

  1. Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide strong educational leadership by fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive school culture.
  • Establish and maintain high academic standards and promote the development of all students.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the school’s educational goals and objectives.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.
  1. Academic Oversight:
  • Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with local and national education standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and student outcomes.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student performance and overall academic achievement.
  • Lead professional development programs to enhance the teaching skills of staff members.
  1. Faculty and Staff Management:
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate faculty and staff members.
  • Create a positive work environment that motivates and supports staff in their professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff members.
  1. Student Welfare:
  • Ensure the holistic development of students by fostering their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Implement programs that promote discipline, respect, and positive behavior among students.
  • Oversee student activities, extracurricular programs, and student support services.
  • Address any concerns regarding student discipline or conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  1. Parent and Community Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates on school activities and student progress.
  • Foster strong relationships with the community, local organizations, and other educational institutions.
  • Engage with parents through meetings, events, and communication to encourage active participation in their children’s education.
  • Organize and lead school events, conferences, and meetings with parents and community stakeholders.
  1. Financial and Resource Management:
  • Manage the school’s budget and financial resources, ensuring that funds are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources for academic programs, facilities maintenance, and extracurricular activities.
  • Ensure the school complies with all financial and regulatory requirements.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and CBSE education regulations and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records related to student attendance, academic progress, and disciplinary matters.
  • Provide regular reports to the school board or director on the school’s performance, challenges, and achievements.
  • Qualifications:Education: A Master's degree in any related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role (preferably as Principal).
  • Certifications: Certification in School Leadership or Principal Certification
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational best practices, curriculum development, and student assessment.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Experience in fostering a positive school culture and enhancing student achievement.
