Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: Maintenance Engineer (Plant & Machinery)

Salary: ₹3.0L – ₹7.2L CTC

Experience: 3–7 Years

Core Objective: To ensure zero downtime for production machinery, utility equipment, and facility infrastructure.

1. Machinery & Heavy Equipment Maintenance

Production Gear: Repair and service Hydraulic Press, Shearing, Lathe, and Drilling machines.

Lifting & Earthmoving: Full upkeep of EOT Cranes (mechanical/electrical checks), Hydra, and JCB (engine and hydraulic systems).

2. Welding & Surface Treatment Plants

Welding Support: Maintain MIG/MAG welding sets, including wire-feeder calibration, torch maintenance, and gas regulator checks.

Surface Preparation: Oversee the Shot Blasting unit (replacement of wear plates, nozzles, and turbine blades) and ensure the Painting Chamber (exhaust fans, filters, and spray guns) is operational.

Pneumatics: Maintenance of air compressors and pipelines feeding the painting and blasting areas.

3. Utility & Shed Maintenance

Structural Work: Occasional Shed Work involving truss repairs, roofing, and rainwater gutter cleaning.

Renewable Energy: Basic troubleshooting and cleaning of Solar Device Installations, ensuring structures are secure and connections are corrosion-free.

Key Technical Skills Required

Mechanical: Deep knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Fabrication: Proficiency in overseeing welding quality and structural integrity.

Preventive Mindset: Ability to create a maintenance calendar for the overall resources.
