Logistics Executive

Job Responsibilities

Transportation Operations

• Arrange refrigerated and frozen vehicles as per dispatch plans.
• Ensure timely placement of vehicles for factory and depot dispatch.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules with logistics, sales, and production teams.
• Monitor vehicle movement to ensure on-time delivery (OTIF).

Cold Chain Management

• Ensure vehicles maintain required frozen temperature during transit.
• Verify vehicle hygiene, insulation, and refrigeration unit condition.
• Monitor temperature logs and take corrective action for deviations.
• Minimize product melt loss, damages, and transit shortages.

Vendor & Driver Co ordination

• Coordinate with transporters, fleet owners, and drivers.
• Share loading instructions and delivery timelines with drivers.
• Handle transporter issues, delays, and emergency breakdowns.

Documentation & Records

• Ensure availability and accuracy of transport documents (Invoice, DC, E-way Bill).
• Maintain freight bills, vehicle records, and transporter performance data.
• Support freight reconciliation and transporter payments.

Cost & Performance Control

• Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Track key KPIs such as transit loss, OTIF, and vehicle utilization.
• Assist in transporter evaluation and rate negotiations.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with food safety, cold-chain, and transport regulations.
• Follow company safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
• Support audits and internal compliance checks
