Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

Develop and expand the market for company products in the assigned area.

Appoint new distributors/dealers and strengthen the existing channel network.

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 6–10 sales executives.

Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure timely collection of payments.

Plan and execute field activities such as demos, farmer meetings, and retailer visits.

Monitor team performance through daily/weekly reports and market visits.

Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and farmers.

Implement sales strategies to improve product visibility and market share.

Track competitor activities and suggest counter strategies.

Ensure proper stock management, order booking, and route planning.

Train sales executives on product knowledge and selling techniques.

Prepare MIS reports and update management regularly.

Experience:

8–10 years in channel sales / agri input sales (Organic /bio/ micronutrients fertilizer.
