Retail Cashier

Job Description: We are looking for a Retail Cashier to manage billing and payment transactions at our store. The candidate should be able to handle customer billing efficiently using computer software and maintain accuracy in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customer billing using billing software.
• Collect payments via cash, card, or UPI and issue receipts.
• Visit the bank for weekly cash and cheque deposits.
• Maintain cash and sales registers as per accountant’s instructions.
• Submit daily collection and deposit data to the main office.
• Coordinate with the accountant for record verification and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.
• Provide polite and efficient customer service at the billing counter.

Requirements:

• Basic computer knowledge - Must know Basic Excel.
• Honest, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in cash handling or retail cashiering is a plus.
• Willingness to visit the bank and manage related paperwork.
