Account Executive (Accounting)

Job Description: Accounting Executive (Odoo ERP)Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to manage the complete financial operations of our group of enterprises. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, compliance with statutory requirements, and efficient use of Odoo ERP for accounting and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that requires both accounting expertise and the ability to work across multiple business units.

• Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Record Maintenance

• Maintain accurate financial records for all enterprises using Odoo ERP.
• Record day-to-day transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Financial Management
• 
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Compliance & Taxation
• 
  
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Maintain compliance with Indian accounting standards and local regulations.
• Reporting & Insights

• Generate MIS reports and dashboards from Odoo for management review.
• Provide insights into cost control, profitability, and financial planning.
• Consolidate financials across enterprises for a group-level view.
• ERP & Process Improvement
• 
  
• Leverage Odoo ERP for automation, reporting, and workflow improvements.
• Assist in process streamlining and internal controls.
• Train and support other users on basic Odoo finance functionalities if required.
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter / M.Com preferred).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably handling multi-entity accounts.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting & Finance modules) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Indian accounting standards, and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
