Account Executive (Accounting)

1. Billing & Sales Accounting

• Generate invoices for retail, B2B, and subscription customers
• Ensure accurate billing in line with pricing, discounts, and tax structure
• Maintain proper records of all sales transactions

2. Purchase & Expense Accounting

• Record purchase entries and supplier invoices
• Match purchase entries with GRNs and inventory records
• Maintain vendor-wise ledgers and reconcile regularly

3. Payments & Receivables

• Track payables and receivables
• Process vendor payments and follow up on collections
• Maintain daily cash/bank records and reconciliation

4. GST & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Ensure proper input credit tracking and reconciliation
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements

5. Inventory Accounting

• Maintain stock records in coordination with store/warehouse
• Track inward and outward movement of goods
• Reconcile physical stock with system stock periodically

6. MIS & Reporting

• Generate basic reports on sales, expenses, and inventory
• Support management with data for decision-making
• Highlight discrepancies or irregularities proactively

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting (FMCG/retail preferred)
• Working knowledge of GST and basic compliance
• Experience with accounting software (Tally / Busy / ERP like Vasy preferred)
• Good Excel skills
• Attention to detail and accountability
