Accountant

 Accountant manages daily accounting operations, prepares financial statements and reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Key duties include performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audits, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

     Manage and analyze financial records: 

Accountants are responsible for the core function of collecting, tracking, and recording all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. 

• Prepare financial statements and reports: 

They prepare key financial documents like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, which are used to report on a company's financial performance. 

• Ensure regulatory compliance: 

A major part of their role is to ensure all financial activities adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including tax laws. 

• Provide financial advice: 
• Accountants analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management or clients, helping them make informed decisions about budgeting, investments, and other operational matters.
• Handle tax preparation: 
• This includes preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time, as well as developing tax strategies to minimize liabilities legally.
