Job Title: Account ExecutiveDepartment: Finance & Accounts

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, inventory accounting, ensuring statutory compliance, handling project-related accounts, and supporting financial reporting and reconciliation processes. This role requires hands-on experience with Tally, GST, TDS, and inventory management.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesRecord day-to-day financial transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Maintain and manage inventory records, including stock entries, inward/outward movements, and valuation in Tally.
  • Process project invoices accurately and on time.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, inventory reconciliation, and project account reconciliation periodically.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, FCRA, Income Tax).
  • Manage vendor reconciliation on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy of balances and stock statements.
  • Verify and record operational expenditure and inventory-related expenses in the books of accounts.
  • Track inventory consumption and coordinate with operations/procurement teams for stock accuracy.
  • Maintain accounts for government-sponsored projects under the PFMS system.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and grant offices to resolve account- and inventory-related queries.
  • Support the Finance Manager with audits, inventory verification, and financial reporting.
  • Uphold data integrity and confidentiality in all financial and inventory transactions.
  • Key Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime (including Inventory module) – mandatory
  • Strong understanding of TDS, GST, and Income Tax
  • Experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and valuation
  • Experience with statutory compliance and reconciliations
  • Knowledge of PFMS and FCRA accounting preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Education & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, etc.)
  • 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including inventory handling
  • Certification in Tally or GST/TDS compliance will be an added advantage
