Job Description
- Maintain daily accounts and financial transactions of the jewellery store.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, and payments in accounting software (such as Tally, Busy Accounting Software, or Zoho Books).
- Prepare GST invoices and ensure GST compliance.
- File GST returns and maintain tax records.
- Monitor gold stock, jewellery inventory, and valuation.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash balances daily.
- Handle vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation.
- Maintain purchase records for gold, diamonds, and other jewellery items.
- Ensure accuracy in weight, purity, and cost calculations for jewellery transactions.
