Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our Montra Electric dealership. The role involves handling billing, GST compliance, financial reporting, and coordination with auditors while ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & BookkeepingMaintain books of accounts (cash, bank, journal entries)
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts accurately
• Handle dealer invoices, customer billing, and vendor payments
• Reconcile bank statements and cash balances
• GST & Statutory CompliancePrepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• Ensure proper GST billing for EVs, spares, and services
• Coordinate with CA for audits, returns, and compliance
• Maintain statutory records and documents
• Sales & Inventory AccountingTrack vehicle sales, service revenue, and spare parts billing
• Maintain inventory accounting for EVs, batteries, spares & accessories
• Monitor stock valuation and reconcile physical stock with records
• Payroll & ExpensesPrepare salary sheets and manage payroll entries
• Track employee reimbursements and operational expenses
• Ensure timely payments and expense control
• Reporting & MISPrepare monthly MIS reports (sales, expenses, profitability)
• Assist management with financial analysis and cost control
• Support year-end closing and audit requirements
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 2–4 years of experience as an Accountant (automobile / EV dealership preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, basic compliance
• Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP / Accounting software
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Preferred ExperienceExperience in automobile or EV dealership accounting
• Knowledge of vehicle invoicing, RTO documentation, and dealer operations
