Job Title: Accounts & Reconciliation Executive (E-commerce)

Location:Bangalore (Work from Office)

Experience Required:1–4 years (E-commerce / Marketplace experience preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Reconciliation Executive (E-commerce) who will be responsible for managing financial reconciliation across online marketplaces and quick commerce platforms, along with monitoring inventory at fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and working knowledge of GST and TDS.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketplace ReconciliationReconcile sales, returns, commissions, and payouts from platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.
• Identify discrepancies in settlement reports and coordinate with platforms for resolution
• Maintain accurate reconciliation statements and reports on a periodic basis
• 2. Accounting & Financial ControlRecord marketplace transactions in accounting systems
• Ensure proper accounting of revenue, fees, and deductions
• Prepare monthly reconciliation reports and assist in closing books
• 3. GST & TDS ComplianceEnsure correct application of GST on sales and platform fees
• Track TCS (Tax Collected at Source) and reconcile with GST returns
• Monitor TDS deductions and maintain proper records for compliance
• 4. Inventory Monitoring (Fulfillment Centers)Track inventory movement across fulfillment centers
• Reconcile stock between system records and platform data
• Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate with operations/logistics teams
• 5. Reporting & AnalysisGenerate MIS reports on sales, returns, and deductions
• Provide insights on revenue leakage, claims, and cost optimization
• Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)
• 1–4 years of experience in e-commerce accounting or reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and TCS (e-commerce)
• Hands-on experience with marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, quick commerce platforms)
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or similar)
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
