Job Description – Academic Counselor (College Admission)

Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Academic Counselor to guide students and parents through the college admission process. The candidate should have strong communication skills, knowledge of admission procedures, and the ability to convert leads into admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents on course options, colleges, and career pathways.
• Explain direct, and management quota admissions clearly.
• Manage inquiries and leads.
• Convert leads into successful admissions.
• Guide students with documentation and ensure smooth admission processing.
• Maintain and update records in the CRM system.
• Stay updated on university guidelines, admission deadlines, and seat availability.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Education/Management/Psychology or relevant field).
• 1+ years of experience in student counseling/admissions.
• Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency CRM tools(Company will provide CRM training).
• Languages: English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam (English plus any 2 regional languages are mandatory).
• Must have own mobile and laptop.

Compensation & Benefits:

• 3 months probation period.
• During probation: No fixed salary, ₹5,000 incentive per admission.
• After probation (based on performance): Permanent role with salary(20000) + incentives + company provided mobile.
