Job Summary


An Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about courses, eligibility, fees, and helping them choose the right program. The role involves counselling students, following up with leads, and converting enquiries into admissions.


  • Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students regarding available courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
  • Handle incoming leads through calls, emails, and messages.
  • Follow up with prospective students to convert enquiries into admissions.
  • Provide accurate information about programs, fees, eligibility, and documentation.
  • Maintain student data and update CRM/Excel records regularly.
  • Assist students in completing the application and admission process.
  • Achieve monthly admission targets.
  • Coordinate with the documentation and operations team for admission completion.
  • Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
  • Required SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good convincing and counselling ability
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
  • Ability to handle student queries professionally
  • Target-oriented and result-driven
  • Good follow-up and time management skills
  • QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in any field (preferred)
  • Experience in education counselling, sales, or tele-calling is an advantage
  • Experience0–3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or education sales.
