Job Description

  • 🔹 Inventory & Cost ControlAssist in monitoring daily food & beverage inventory.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock audits (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Identify variance between physical stock and system stock.
  • Support in minimizing wastage, pilferage, and over-portioning.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) practices are followed.
  • 🔹 Purchase & Receiving ControlVerify purchase orders with invoices and delivery challans.
  • Check quality, quantity, and rates during goods receiving.
  • Ensure proper documentation of GRN (Goods Received Note).
  • Coordinate with vendors for discrepancies.
  • 🔹 Costing & Menu EngineeringAssist in preparing recipe costing sheets.
  • Monitor standard vs actual food cost.
  • Support in menu pricing analysis.
  • Track yield testing and portion control standards.
  • 🔹 Reporting & MISPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
  • Maintain outlet-wise consumption reports.
  • Support in variance analysis and cost percentage reporting.
  • Assist in preparing management MIS reports.
  • 🔹 Compliance & SOP AdherenceEnsure all outlets follow company SOPs.
  • Monitor adherence to stock handling procedures.
  • Support in internal audits and compliance checks.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
  • 🔹 Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with Chefs, Bar Managers, and Outlet Managers.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team for reconciliation.
  • Support training staff on cost control best practices.
  • 🔹 System & Software HandlingMaintain data accuracy in POS and inventory systems.
  • Update recipe costing and price changes in system.
  • Generate required reports from ERP/POS software
