AutoCAD Designer (Modular Furniture)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PRODUCTION DESIGNER, at MODULAR STORY located in Bengaluru. The PRODUCTION DESIGNER will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate pasting list, cutting list and BoM for modular furniture manufacturing, ensuring optimization of materials to minimize waste. Key responsibilities include understanding design specifications, coordinating with design and production teams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards across all projects. PRODUCTION DESIGNER has to work on SPAZIO 3d SOFTWARE.

Qualifications

Proficiency in creating cutlists and optimization of materials for modular furniture projects

Strong understanding of furniture design, technical drawings, and interpreting specifications

Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate with design and production teams effectively

Experience with relevant design and production software (Spazio 3D) is highly beneficial

Familiarity with the modular furniture industry and manufacturing processes is advantageous

Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in interior design, furniture design, or related field
