Job Responsibilities:

• In-patient (IP) billing & discharge bill preparation
• surgery cost billing, package handling, and OT consumables management
• Managing procedure-wise package billing, including inclusions & exclusions
• Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
• Following admission guideline protocols while performing admission of patients
• Understanding patient’s needs and provide billing services as necessary
• Handling cash / petty cash vouchers
• Ensure that all services are billed before the patient leaves the hospital
• Ensuring acknowledgment from patients on all hospital procedures
• Providing cost estimation and financial clearance for patients
• Preparing interim bills and counseling patients on outstanding expenses
• Preparing final bills according to the agreed package or tariffs
• Payment Reconciliation
• Insurance Process, Pre-auth, final approval and claims

Job Specifications:

• Qualification: Degree in Accounting or similar stream
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in managing similar roles in hospitals
• Technical Skills: Accounting, Record Management, MS office
• Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations, practice conflict resolution
• Communication Skills: Good command over English, Kannada. Ability to resolve problems through effective communication
