Job Description
🔹 Core Roles of a BDE
- Lead Generation
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms.
- Qualify leads based on business fit and potential value.
- Client Acquisition
- Pitch products or services to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Upsell or cross-sell services to current customers.
- Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Market Research
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Recommend changes or improvements to product offerings.
- Sales Reporting
- Track and report key metrics (e.g., leads generated, conversions, revenue).
- Use CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) for documentation and analysis.
- Collaboration with Teams
- Work with marketing teams to plan campaigns.
- Coordinate with product or service delivery teams to meet client expectations.
- Sales Strategy Development
- Contribute to developing sales goals and strategies.
- Identify new markets and expansion opportunities.
