Job Description

🔹 Core Roles of a BDE

  1. Lead Generation
  • Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms.
  • Qualify leads based on business fit and potential value.
  1. Client Acquisition
  • Pitch products or services to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Upsell or cross-sell services to current customers.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly.
  1. Market Research
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Recommend changes or improvements to product offerings.
  1. Sales Reporting
  • Track and report key metrics (e.g., leads generated, conversions, revenue).
  • Use CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) for documentation and analysis.
  1. Collaboration with Teams
  • Work with marketing teams to plan campaigns.
  • Coordinate with product or service delivery teams to meet client expectations.
