Position: Business Development Executive

Location: [Bannerghatta, Bangalore]

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 5+ years in business development or sales, preferably in the catering, event management, or hospitality industry.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Business Development Manager who will take charge of promoting our catering services and driving new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel at connecting with event management companies, convention halls, corporate clients, and other relevant stakeholders to generate leads and secure contracts for our catering services. If you have exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and a proven track record in building business relationships, we want you on our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and approach event management companies, convention halls, corporate clients, and other venues to promote our catering services.
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential clients through cold-calling, networking, and industry events.
  1. Market Research and Strategy:
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop tailored strategies to target specific client segments effectively.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with event managers, venue owners, corporate decision-makers, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for potential and existing clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.
  1. Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
  • Prepare and present customized proposals that highlight our catering services, menu options, and unique selling points.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts to secure long-term partnerships.
  1. Brand Promotion:
  • Represent our catering company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  1. Performance Monitoring:
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and new opportunities.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in catering or event-related industries.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build lasting business relationships.
  • Knowledge of the event management industry is a strong advantage.
