Job TitleBusiness Development Manager – Facility Management
DepartmentSales & Business Development
Reporting ToHead – Business Operations / Director
Job PurposeTo drive business growth by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and expanding Facility Management services such as housekeeping, security, pest control, technical services, and soft services across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Business Development & SalesIdentify and develop new business opportunities in Facility Management services
- Generate leads through cold calls, site visits, references, tenders, and networking
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and service demonstrations
- Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and RFP/RFQ responses
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service scope with clients
- 2. Client Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with corporate clients, builders, and property managers
- Act as a single point of contact during onboarding and handover to operations
- Handle client feedback, renewals, and upselling opportunities
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention
- 3. Market & Competitor AnalysisStudy market trends, competitor pricing, and service offerings
- Identify new sectors, locations, and service expansion opportunities
- Share market intelligence with management for strategic decisions
- 4. Coordination with Operations & FinanceCoordinate with operations team for manpower planning and site mobilization
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to execution
- Work with finance for billing, credit control, and payment follow-ups
- 5. Reporting & MISMaintain daily/weekly/monthly sales MIS
- Track leads, conversions, revenue, and targets
- Submit performance reports to management
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)New client acquisition
- Monthly / quarterly revenue achievement
- Conversion ratio of leads to contracts
- Client retention & contract renewals
- Collection efficiency (coordination support)
- Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Facility Management services (Soft & Hard FM)
- Ability to understand client requirements and create solutions
- Good presentation and proposal-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM tools
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Qualification & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (MBA – Marketing preferred)
- 3–8 years of experience in Facility Management / Integrated FM sales
- Experience in B2B / corporate sales is mandatory
- Preferred Industry ExposureFacility Management
- Property Management
- Real Estate / Infrastructure
- Security / Housekeeping / Pest Control companies
